Bürgerinitiative Keine Freileitung Neuenhagen-Letschin präsentierte sich auf dem Blütenfest. Die Initiative ist inzwischen entlang der geplanten, 40 km langen Hochspannungstrasse aktiv. Immer mehr Bürger der betroffenen Orte schließen sich der Initiative an.
Für viele Wochenendtouristen gehört das Blütenfest in Wesendahl schon zum festen Bestandteil ihrer Ausflüge. Umso betroffener zeigten sie sich von dem geplanten Bau der Freileitung in ihrem Naherholungsgebiet.
